Make (Ca Mau) Cape Greener

“New year of growing trees and eternal gratitude to Uncle Ho” Program and “World Environment Day” (June 05), Ca Mau Province Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism held a tree-growing ceremony at Dat Mui tourism area in Mui hamlet, Dat Mui Commune, Ngoc Hien District, Ca Mau Province.

On May 13th, 2017, there were more than 50 public servants, officials of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the state-owned non-business units under its management who joined the tree-growing program arround Ca Mau Cape. Mangrove trees are planted at reasonable distances to ensure their development and contribute to preventing landslides and sea encroachment and protecting the landscape and the ecological environment of Dat Mui tourism area.

This is a very meaningful activity of Ca Mau Province Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to celebrate the 127th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh and respond to “New year of growing trees and eternal gratitude to Uncle Ho” Program and “World Environment Day” at the same time propagate and improve the awareness of officials, civil servants, laborers, communities and tourists on protecting the environment, creating a sustainable development ecological environment.
